Description of Project | Patrick Engineering used Rock Gap Engineering as a sub-consultant and was contracted by the U.S. Department of the Navy to provide design services for 41 critical electrical infrastructure projects at 26 common areas at Naval Base Kitsap in Bangor, WA. The base serves as the host command for the Navy’s fleet throughout West Puget Sound and provides base operating services including support for both surface ships and submarines. Due to this critical role of the base, the project is on a fast track schedule to complete all work in 374 days, with the first critical set of projects scheduled for completion in 233 days.
Scope of Work | Patrick will prepare multiple independent electrical scope packages with each package being suitable for a design/bid/build approach and will include electrical improvements to the 155kV substation equipment, 12.47kV distribution system, 12.47kV generator systems, and associated protective equipment.
